Slaidburn - Rimmer - Quick March

William Rimmer's quick march "Slaidburn" is probably one of the most popular marches in the Brass Band repertoire and was featured in the film "The Full Monty". Dedicated to the village and Brass Band of the same name it was later adopted by the Wingates Temperance Band as their signature tune. William Rimmer has often been described as the "King" of the brass band movement and has composed over 45 popular marches.
