Zadok the Priest - Concert Band

Zadok the Priest, composed by George Frideric Handel (1685-1759), is the most popular of the four Coronation Anthems he composed for the coronation of George II and sung at every subsequent coronation. The well-known, and deceptively simple introduction, explodes dramatically with the entrance of the chorus.

This revised instrumental version in Bb major, arranged by Geoff Kingston for concert band, retains all the power and energy of the original score and ideal for concert programs both sacred and general.
