About This Work

"The Old Hundredth' (All People that on Earth do Dwell) was arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams for the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in Westminster Abbey on 2nd June 1953. Originally scored for Full Orchestra, Organ, Choir and Fanfare Trumpets this is without doubt the most thrilling setting of this much loved hymn.

As a result of various requests this is now available for Concert Band, Organ and Choir arranged Geoff Kingston. The original Fanfare Trumpet parts have been integrated within the Brass section. Fully scored this can be performed, if required, by band alone and is ideal for general and sacred concerts as well as church services.
