ABOUT THIS WORK

Although William Rimmer's quick march "Sergeants of the Guard" may not be as well-known as some of his other compositions it is nevertheless well crafted, full of spirit and certainly worthy of performance on the concert platform or on parade. This wonderful march is now available for full Concert Band, edited and arranged by Geoff Kingston, complementing "Punchinello" and "Slaidburn"; which are also available through the SafeMusic site.

William Rimmer has often been described as the "King" of the brass band movement and has composed over 45 popular marches, many of which we will make available for Concert Band in due course.
