ABOUT THIS WORK

"The Lincolnshire Poacher" is a traditional English folk song associated with the county of Lincolnshire, and dealing with the joys of poaching and considered the unofficial county anthem of Lincolnshire. Originally scored for Brass Band by Derek Broadbent this popular setting has been transcribed for Concert band by Geoff Kingston. A great crowd pleaser and an arrangement that has stood the test of time. Ideal as an encore or performed just for fun.
