"The Holy City" is a religious Victorian ballad dating from 1892, with music by Michael Maybrick writing under the alias Stephen Adams, with lyrics by Frederic Weatherly. Arranged by Geoff Kingston, as requested by one of our supporters, this wonderfully atmospheric song is now for Solo Bb Trumpet/Soprano and Concert Band. Although of its time this distinctive piece has continued to remain popular and ideal as a solo for the young Trumpeter or more advance player. This score also provides an accompaniment for the original Soprano voice.
