About This Work

"A Yorkshire Pudding", composed and arranged by Geoff Kingston is dedicated to the James Farrell Concert Band of Leeds, a Community Band playing in the Yorkshire area. 

This arrangement of popular Yorkshire Tunes in a lively and foot-tapping concert march features the following much loved tunes: 

On Ilkley Moor Bar t’at 
The Grand Old Duke of York 
Scarborough Fair 
The Lass of Richmond Hill 

A real" Yorkshire Pudding", and a march, with one or two light-hearted surprises, will be loved by audiences and players alike and one for Yorkshire bandstands and beyond!

10/02/2012 - Absolute Genius... It is about time that a March based on good old Yorkshire tunes had an up to date make over. In my opinion what has been done here has been well thought over and extremely well constructed. The best Yorkshire Concert March have heard in a very long time.
