About This Work

Kemp's Ridley is named after the Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle, an endangered animal native to the Gulf of Mexico and portions of the Atlantic Ocean. It is one of a series of marches by Kelly Bennette named for endangered animals. The introduction is a big bold fanfare followed by a standard quickstep march written in the tradition and style of the popular circus march.

Tuneful and exuberant this joyful piece is great for parades, concerts or anywhere a good, playable, march is required.
