Highland Nocturne - Bagpipes & Concert Band

"Highland Nocturne", composed by Michael Korb (co-composer of the legendary "Highland Cathedral") and Ian Macpherson, is a new work inspired by the ancient castles and misty lochs of the Scottish Highlands. Michael and Ian have worked on several projects and have now combined their immense musical talents to create a new piece for Bagpipes and Concert Band.

This new setting, arranged by Ian, ‘‘Highland Nocturne", with its haunting melody, is full of atmosphere, energy and emotion, bringing together contemporary and traditional sounds to great effect. A great addition to the repertoire and one that will certainly stand the test of time.
